i installed rail extensions on my 2004 rx1 short track. i went with the 144 tipped up rails and the hartman tunnel extension .my question is that the other day a buddy with a 2004 rx1 warrior was beside my sled and i was looking at his sled and his rear bracket is alot farther back.now that i went 144 ,should i relocate the rear bracket also.what will this do.will it lower the rear part of the suspension,as mine sits higher then his.will this help with more traction also.both sleds have the proaction on them.i know that if i move the rear bracket ,that the middle has to move also.thanks for any help.

nobody knows or has done this before i guess.i will leave it as is then.was just wondering if it improved the ride a little.

hay where did you get your rail extensions? im looking to do mine an am trying to find the best place to get Good extensions.

You could just move your skid back 4" and a killer attack angle. Get for on and off trail riding.

mine are track usa tipped up rails.ulmer racing sells them.i am thinking of relocating my rear suspesion from the 121 to the way the rx1 warriar suspension is .the brackets on the warriar are farther back.this should help since it is a 144 now.

skid questions

the reason the rear brackets are farther back fern is to make up the difference from the longer rails of the warrior you wont be able to move the mounts back and be able to bolt the skid back it and also it will change all the geometry of your skid i ran my 121 with 144 extensions on my boosted rx1 this winter and really liked it the better way to go would be a warrior skid and shorter extensions or a different skid all together

redhead700,why wont it work if all i am doing is moving it back and making new holes.i have warrior dop brackets used to install on my sled also.the 121 and 136 have the same skid besides the rails.
