If I only wanted to raise the handlebars 1 1/2 inch on my 07 Attak whats the best way & still have the stock look?

THANKS!

BR

You can get just a solid block drilled for Yamaha, it comes in 1" increments but I would recommend an articulating riser as you could than move the bar fore and aft.

I'd look at the ROX website. I'm going 2" on my RTX. I think Welter had picks of his 2" ROX riser for his GT if I'm not mistaken. The ROX is also pivoting.

Id say get the Apex mountain riser block, but its 2" taller than the stock one. It is guarenteed to work perfect and look stock, and they cables will not have to be modified, according to several other people on this site who have did this before.

i've got a 3in. rox riser on my rtx and didn't have to modify anything. only the handle bar pad doen't fit properly

The factory mountain kit is probably the way to go!
I want total stock look, for sure!
I just think 2" is too much!
1 1/2 seems right sitting on a sled!
Maybe I'll get the mountain kit & cut 1/2 inch off of it!

kit

If you get the mtn kit the 06 apex mtn and the 07 mtn are different legnths just so you don't order the 07 by accident.

get the 06 mnt riser..i did it on mine and it wasnt a huge rise up , but it did help.

Im probobly shorter than you 5'8 and i think the 2 inch is the way to go..

I love the Rox riser, it looks like a farrari.. VERY COOL

I had the mountain riser on my old handlebar setup and it was a perfect way to have the stock look with just enough of a lift.

I'm going to add a ROX AV 2" riser. I'll machine .25" off of both the top and bottom of the original riser. That will give me only a 1.50" rise!

I'm going to have to find someone to machine a 1/2 inch off of the factory mountain riser too!
Does the 06 kit come with the bolts you need?
Whats the difference in the 07 kit & the 06 kit?

THANKS!
BR

You have to order the bolts seperately from the rider, and they are quite expensive. If there is a local bolt company, they will most likely have the bolts you need in proper length and shank diameter.

The 06 riser has more rise than the 07 kit I think. But since so many people have alrady went with the 06 riser, and it works, itd be better just stick with something you know will work like it should and proper rise.

Just curious, will you notice half an inch difference in bar height?
