Ran her dry ????

Fuel light was on and showed one bar...ran about 20 miles and she was dry. Why did it show one bar and be dry? My warrior would flash and would run 20-30 miles after light hit. Is the pick up line in a diff place? This is my 2010 rs vector I speak of. What do you guys think?

My very first ride with my Venture GT, and I found out about what the fuel light and ONE bar really means also.
And, I was two-up with the wife...as you can imagine, it was not a good day.

what the heck.. why did they change this? what a kick in the mid section. I thought I was good for another 20 miles. Can anyone confirm this was a change or did you and I get a bum deal?

20 miles is about 1 gal. 1 bar sounds right. How many bars on the gauge? Your tank only holds 10 doesn't it? unless you take the tank ring out and squeeze just a little more into it.

when she died the fuel light was on and I had one bar. Tank looked bone dry when I took cap off. The F-000 message comes on at 2 bars on the dash, which seems early too me.

My 06 vector light will come on with 3 gallons left it!

I guess its normal.. I am shocked at the difference in the set up from my warrior to this.
