Hey, have you guys had any issues with your track ratcheting like crazy? I tightened up the track...in fact I would say that it is almost too tight, but I find when the sled is trying to hook up its hardest it is still doing it a bit. I don't want to tighten it anymore because I don't feel like burning up a set of sliders every time I go out.

no worries.......do a search and you'll see.
it needs to be tight for first 1/200 miles then bits better and will fine or even pretty loose.

I have about 700 miles now and it still ratchets ocasionally when you get on it hard in big bumps. I havent adjusted the track since I got it. So its pretty loose now. It seems to do it less and less over time

Mine ratcheted when I was hard on the throttle, but I checked it and it was just outside recommended spec. I adjusted it and it was fine for another 150 kms. I've since made a second adjustment. I try to keep it on the loose side of the specs to minimize wear on the sliders, but so it doesn't ratchet.
Remember, replacing a drivers is more expensive than replacing slides. Not to mention you don't want to have your track ratcheting when you need you power the most.

It will go away to a certain extent as the track begins to break in/conform to the drivers but you will always have to run it really snug. Most of us are doing extrovert drivers to allow looser track tension and eliminate the ratcheting all together.....
