I think it has to do with the fact that exhaust donuts have been covered,(turn on Dr. Evil Voice) ONE MILLION times.
If you take it to the dealer they should warranty it regardless of whether or not you have the Y.E.S. Emissions have their own 5 year required by gov. It's a very simple thing to do however, the worst part is removing the two Y-Pipe bolts that WILL be rusted and Seized. So have a torch, drill, drill bit, and medium easy-out ready. 500 miles with toasted Donuts will destroy the Y-pipe, not to mention you're sled will run like crap, use more fuel, and you'll smell fumes all day while riding.

Here's a couple searching tips that will help.
1.) when doing multiple word searches, use AND between words. If searching exhaust donuts, search (exhaust AND donuts).
2.) if you want Exhaust donuts specifically for Nytros and not Apex, limit your search to a particular Nytro forum.
These couple tips will make searching more successful. Give it a try.
Good luck!

When you take off the seat and your looking at the top of the gas tank you have 1 big plug n 1 small plug,I snapped the little plastic lever you push down to release it. Am I retty much fucked or can I get around it somehow? I am about this close [] to just bring in to the dealer and let him worry about it

I suggest you close that tiny gap and bring it to the dealer. It's very difficult to learn anything mechanical by reading about it.

Its not hard 2 undo some bolts,I know for a fact I can do it. Thanks for your suggestion but I need an answer to my question not an opinion on what I should do. Not trying to be a smart #*$&@ just stating a fact. I snapped it off because its cold and its plastic but I didn't think anything of it but I should of. I preform tons of maintenance on my sled. Carbides, studs, plugs, skis, oil and I greased up the jackshaft bearing. I am not the smartest out there but if I take my time and look at things I can get it done most of it is common sense

Take it to the dealer...... When doing anything mechanical it is important to realize when you are in over your head.

are you talking about the release tab on the electrical connector to the fuel pump or the red lock on the fuel line?

No, you are over your head because you are asking "if" you should replace it. You most definitely "must" replace it. I'm not sure which piece you're talking about but one completes the fuel pump electrical connection and the other the fuel flow. If either becomes disconnected on the trail you are getting towed home. Not to mention if it's the fuel line connection and it pops off some fuel will come out, and it could run down on to the hot header cover. That my friend could be very bad. You don't have the gas tank off yet and you are in trouble. If and when you do get it off there are other steps to this process which can and "will" be difficult. Like LJ said above you probably will need a torch to heat the two bolts which hold on the header. They go through so many hot and cold cycles, they almost definitely will be seized. No one on this site wants to see you post about burning down your sled. If I lived closer to you I would come over and give you a hand, but I don't. Do yourself a favor and take it to a pro, $150 and two days later you will be riding again.
