Rob; 3/4.
RRSX, mount it between the two tubes coming out of the engine and it will be rock solid.

The problem is those fittings are measured on the inside diameter thats why the 3/4 looks big but if you had a couple of short pieces of copper tubing soldered into the 3/4 piece you would find the hoses would slip over the newly soldered tubes.Neither fitting you show is ment to have hoses slipped over them unless you add some tubing.

I hate to rain on evryones parade but... Has anyone ridden a sled with the style of T that is shown in the pictures? I would not trust a hose slipped over a connector that did not have a barb around it to help the clamp hold the hose on.
How much pressure does the coolong system operate under? With expansion and contraction as the hoses and fittings warm and cool add bouncing around on the trail and something is bound to give and the weekpoint is the barbless hose connections.

Yes, me for 2 years. I see your point about the barbs, but they are not needed the way I installed the T. By placing it in between the two tubes theres no way for it to come loose :ORCPhantom said:Has anyone ridden a sled with the style of T that is shown in the pictures?

MightyWarrior, after looking at the pic of your install, it appears you found a 3/4" T similar to my 1/2" T where the Summit sending unit screws directly into the T without any adapters? Am I correct? If so, its back to Lowes I go

An adaptor is needed, but it is provided with the Gauge. Look close to the picture and you can see the teflon tape.
