Both sleds were completley full of liquid.
Viper Specs LTX SE 137 inch 1.25 track, stock exhaust 619 LBS
XF High Country Limited 800 CC 2 stroke 141 inch 2.25 track and a SLP Can ( saves 12 lbs ) 588 LBS
Front scales were centered on the ski spindles, the LT rear was under the front skid shock, and the RT rear was at the end of the track.
Not a huge difference by any means. Notice how the weight is distributed though.

Wonder why my shipping weight was 531 pounds, with 2.5 gallons of gas.

Thanks for taking the time to do that and sharing the result with us.
We can see that there is a pretty big difference on the front skid shock. The headers are right there so that can explain the difference.

That and also the skids are different as is the track length. I suppose I could take precise weights by measuring everything based off the front spindles and then measure x inches back to the front part of the skid and x inches back to the back part of the skid... maybe if I get bored. I can tell you one thing that when you lift and move both sleds around you can definatley tell the cat is more "balanced"
Is that weight with the fuel tank full as well?

By more "balanced" do you mean that the cat feel lighter at the front ?

Yes both tanks full. I tried to make it like they were ready to ride.
That 137" Vipers weight is not too bad.
My Attak was 615lbs with no fuel, but everything else full, before I put it on a diet.

It feels lighter everywhere, pick up the front, back or roll it on its side. Most likley because of the uncoupled skid...? I was actually impressed I thought the viper would be at least 50lbs heavier.....But then you have to figure the havier track and longer suspension and tunnel on the cat.

I just sold mine saturday and i didn't get a chance to weigh mine. I sold it to a friend so i am going to try and weigh it. I did weigh it when I first got it and I thought it was around 635 fully wet. I will try to get some weights this weekend....and my 07 Phazer as well. Lets weight them all !!!!

Lol...I'll bring the Vector, that might break the scale. I'm pretty sure my Nytro was 613 wet. And I thought the Viper was 20 or so pounds lighter. Either way it feels lighter!

It feels a ton lighter and it really rips thru the bumps and the bigger the better and thats what I wanted. I bought the High country from a friend who couldnt ride any more, since most of my friends off trail and go out west a lot. I forgot how much I like a good two stroke !! I thought it would be lighter though, although it does feel much lighter than the Viper while riding it. I just texted my friend when I last weighed my Nytro and he said it was right around 640 with about 3/4 tank of fuel. All these weights were done on the same set of scales.

Right on, I don't know why that number is in my head? Who knows what goes on up there
