anyone got a "real world" pic of these fuel caddies installed on a 144 xtx? Do they interfere with riding(foot positioning)?

I put them on my xtx when I'm going places where I know fuel is more sparse. I don't find that they interfere at all with my feet, riding position etc. They're pretty far back towards where the muffler is. I was more worried about them leaking being bounced around towards the back of the sled, but so far all is good, and I don't notice the extra weight of the fuel at all. The only thing it does interfere with slightly is the cover - but it's marginal and it still fits great. They do pick up a bit of snow from time to time but again - nothing I'd worry about.

use mine without the bag. be sure to use extra bungee to hold the can in place. the oe strap will not last. the aluminum rivet shears.

Here is what one TY user did using a RevXP accesory gas caddy. I have done the same install and relocated my tail light to where the rear reflector was. I installed a Yamaha Turn out and it works awesome. no heat issues at all. The Yamaha bags are ok but they get soaked in gas and ice up real bad. Sorry to Gregdec1 for using his pic.

I like mine a lot and can be used as storage for those trips when you are riding with 2 smokers that have to fill up every 80 miles. The only time they do get in the way is if you are one of those people who like to stand on the back to get the skis to pull up. I don't but I know a couple buddies that do and wouldn't be able to on my sled (nor would I allow them to).
