The track cover on the back of my stock '03 rx-1 M has about a quarter to a half inch of movement. Since the summer is here now I will be soon stripping her down to replace the rivets and see exactly what damage is done to cause this movement. I am wondering if there is somethin I can do to prevent the track cover from tearing through the body. I know keeping the skis on the ground will help but that's not a realistic solution for me. In my mind the best thing to do would be to put a solid body on her but I do not have the money for this. Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks, maniac.

Check with your dealer. Mine was covered by a recall. Of course the sled was still under warranty, but Im sure it was under a recall for the rivets working loose back there.
