Got a rear heat exchanger for an 07 attack has no instruction on putting it on and no template with it. Does anyone have these and could i get a copy ? Thanks

I don't think they came with instructions and the template had measurements but the paper was not to scale. Install was not bad and maybe this recollection will help. Lift rear of sled 3 feet. Remove end caps from exhaust. Remove plastic trim that covers hose on the sides. There are 4 bolts on the inside of tunnel. Drill out the two rivets holding old crossover pipe. Undo hose clamp from crossover pipe on one side and drain and catch antifreeze. Undo clamp on other side. Rotate crossover pipe so you can cut the slot in metal of the tunnel a little longer, about 1 1/2 inch towards front of sled. Follow the edge of the main tunnel material cutting with a mini type hacksaw. Bend the flap in which allows you to remove the old crossover pipe. You can just bend the flaps back in place after you put the new unit in place. Make a template for the rivet holes on your new heat exchanger using a flat firm sheet of paper and punching a pen through it and into the holes. Make sure it doesn't move because it has to be exact. Cut about 6 1/2 inches off of the end of tunnel protectors. Put new heat exchanger in place and hook up hoses. Wedge something like a wooden block between the track and exchanger to snug it up tight to the metal above, in order to rivet together. Put the two supplied heavy duty rivets in the existing holes that you drilled out earlier. These two rivets may require a 1/4 inch rivet tool. Buy it, $60., or borrow, or rent(body shop supply)? Then from underneath, drill out the four holes at the rear that you can see. Next is where you will need the template. Put your template on top of the rear tunnel extension, temporarily stick four rivets through the rear holes to hold the paper in place, then mark and drill your remaining three holes. Be careful to just drill through the tin only, and not hit the rear exchanger. Put all remaining rivets in from the top, and fasten. Put plastic trims and exhaust caps back on. Refill antifreeze. If you didn't lose much, you can take bleeder screw off the back of exchanger, and add antifreeze through there using a large $2. syringe from the drug store, with a piece of plastic insulation from a 14/2 wire attached to it( two inch piece, pull the copper out of it, duct tape), so you can get through the bleeder hole. Fill till it comes out, put screw back in, torque is 9.4 ft.lbs.. Drop back end of sled down, run engine and check coolant reservoir. This is for an 07 Attak exchanger, as you could buy them in early 07. Hopefully new ones are the same. Good luck.
