Rear heat exchanger

I want to add a rear heat exchanger to my 04 Warrior
i went into the yamaha dealer and priced it out and the part number they
gave me is 8FT-124A0-00-00 and told me that this was the exchanger
for a sled with a 136"-151" track

I did a search on here to compare the part number and came up with
8EP-RHECR-KT-00

could someone tell me the difference between these two?

I am looking for the bigger heat exchanger like the mountain one

one looks like a retrofit kit #. the other one might be only the exchanger. i ordered the kit for mine as it came with all the rivits to install it. mine was under warenty at the time so i paid the dealer to do it to make shure my warentee stayed good. i ordered mine by the part # here on ty. you might have to go to the service desk at your dealer as they had the bullitin on this. parts guys never saw that bullitin at my dealer untill i ordered mine.

The rear exchanger retrofit kit for sleds that originally cam without a rear heat exchanger does not have the same partno as the actual part that came originally on a production model sled.

On the other hand, I ordered the part from a production model sled, not the kit. Only thing I had to buy extra was the rivets as they did not come with the exchanger.
