Just installed a 2013 141 skid into my Nytro, and am replacing the rear try hub over to a 4 wheel kit, thinking J&T. My idlers on the rest of the skid should be replaced, the dinky rubber on them are chewed quite bad from studs, and I'm wondering what wheels you all have been replacing them with, whether factory or aftermarket? I'd like to go with a thicker rubber wheel if possible. Also, if anyone has increased the size on the idler to help take the pressure off the slides, what size did you go up to? Anyone running the oversized 8.5# wheel kit from Turbo Dynamics? Thanks!

You talking Viper or Nytro? This is Viper section. Or viper skid in Nytro? If so JT here is working on fitting the thick rubber idlers to our skids with a bigger bearing. That would be awesome! I had better luck with the replacement wheels from Barn of Parts but my studs still chewed the thin rubber up at the bend in rail. I suspect I still have a few bent studs in there somewhere since I didn’t start wrecking those wheels till a idiotic race where something bent or broke about 35 of them.

It's a Viper/XF rear skid installed in my Nytro. Stock idler wheels are toast, just looking for thicker and wider ones like my factory skid had.
