Might be a dumb question but is it possible to recharge the rear mono shock while it's in the sled? If so, got any helpful hints? I suspect my 3yr. old shock in my '06 Attak may need a shot.

No I wouldn't attempt it, a 3yr old shock needs a good refresh, do yourself a favor pull it out, it only takes 1/2 hr or so and get it REBUILT the oil needs changing and at the same time get it fine tuned to your likings...remember shocks are very simular to motors they need fresh and clean oil to operate properly or else you can SCORE the piston or shaft and end costing you a LOT of $$$, the rear shock is like $900.00 CDN to replace!

Good luck.

I tried to disconnect my rear shock while the rear was still in the sled but I didn't see a way to unscrew the mono ra connection at the rear shock. You can easily get both bolts off of the shock ends (but they are very tight).

Oh, recharge, thought it said REMOVE at first!

You have to take the shock out and have it rebuilt!
