As of now I have a MPI stage one supercharger with cold air inlet, head shim, PCV, auto tune, ignition module, LCD screen. I also have the larger fuel pump, and a MBRP header and exhaust. The question is what is the max boost/HP the stock injectors can handle at sea level? I am thinking out loud for future reference/possibilities. That way I will now my limits if I want to max out the stage one using race fuel for short pulls, or play with the Timing a bit more to add a tad bit more boost on pump fuel with the low compression. Right now I am running pump gas (91 octane) at 8.5-9lbs of boost on stock injectors with this setup. For some reason I'm remebering stock injectors being maxed at around 12lbs. Is this correct? Thanks for the help guys

From what I have heard don't go over 10lbs. of boost from the MCX 180 turbo guys. Keep the max at 9lbs. and you should have a good to go..

Even at nine it will start to go lean after a long pull so keep an eye on things. This is at sea level.

With a fuel pump, depending on your regulator set up, you can get as high as 12psi on that set up. But it requires the right regulator. I have a fuel map to go with it and have Dyno results of 158 track hp at 12 psi on stock injectors.

Another option I'm fine tuning now is a 550 cc injector map that would get you as high as your rods can hold up to. This map should be done possibly this weekend.

Quebec, 19 psi may be fun. But your asking for a connecting rod through your block. It's not a question of if but when.

Its always at 14 on 94.But I just wanted to see what it would do..and 19 or 14 feels pretty much the same. The 19 is for above 5000 feet with race gas.Was told it would be ok set up like that. What are your thoughts on that. jack

At 5k feet that's better. But still pushing the envelope. That's equivalent to 17 at sea level. You shouldn't deto it (on race gas) but if you break a rod your whole engine is junk, so just keep that in mind.

..Thanks for the info. These things are bullet proof. My son rode it for 2 tanks at 17psi on 94 .Sealevel.On trails and its still good. But for sure it wont be above 14 from now on.Thanks again, ;)! jack

Bullet proof LOL. Just don't have the wrong guy work on your sled and it may be close.

BTW Mine also has head studs on it for a little extra protection

You're engine is ready for it! You need some more fuel ;)!
