It is a 2007 phazer mountain and all of a sudden the fuel pump would not prime the system prior to start up. Did some trouble shooting to find the relay was not sending power to the sending unit. Replaced the relay which are on the back or just below the battery holder with the one powering the lights and the pump worked again. I then placed the faulty one into the lights and it in turn worked again as the lights turned on. It has me stumped has this hapened to anyone else? would you recommed having replacement parts? and if so who has them the cheapest thanks.

When it is cold they can freeze up. If you are stranded somewhere you can take it out and hold it for a while and it should thaw out and work. A hairdryer works as well. It was probably warmer when you put it in the headlight spot.
The same thing can happen to your starter relay. Located beteween the battery and oil tank.
