How do I remove the 10 mm bolts that attach the flex pipes to the back of the engine without snap them off?? Do I heat them a little or get them red hot or try to torque them off cold? What's the trick?

Use a metric socket(five point, not the crappy ones with many teeth)and a little air-powered impact drive(vibration will loosen them).

I have always soaked mine with penatrating oil & never had a problem getting them off. I have heard of people breaking them though.
