Are there any tricks to removing the secondary sheave bearing behind the secondary? I did the speedo bearing already but want to replace the other. Is it pressed onto the shaft? How about the collar that is attached there?

There is a spanner nut behind the bearing that pulls in a tapered sleeve to hold the bearing in place. The ID of the bearing is also tapered to match the sleeve. You can get to this nut by removing the side panel. I used a small pivot spanner wrench but it wasn't easy . After loosening you may be able to tap it out.

That's what I'm saying. You may be able to. Loosen the nut and tap it to knock the sleeve out. If it's not sieved it may work. Once the sleeve is loose the bearing, because it is tapered should come out.

what year sled i think they only used spanner nut until 09 , so 10 and up do not havd it is a different syle, it can be done but not recommend without taking chain case apart, if ur hammering on bearing to get out u will be banging gear, chain and bearing inside chaincase and possibly crack case, it's recommend to pull shaft and reinstall setting chain case up and then setting jackshaft bearing to hold shaft still and in proper place so chain runs true, short cuts r nice but if it needs jack shaft bearing , should do both chaincase bearings and a drive shaft bearing to, and shes like new again!!
