The retard that serviced my newly purchased 04, put red loctite on the oil pan cover and Im assuming drain bolt. It stripped and I've tried different bits and vise grip. Ive failed to get it free. Any suggestions to get it free.
Yes, I have sprayed it with WD40 and Yes I know the difference between clockwise and counter-clockwise.

Some folks use the wrong tool. It is an Allen Head and not a Torx Bit.

The heat/cold cycles seem to actually cause those beasts to tighten up. Good thing you got it out, but for anyone having real trouble with it, this is the easiest way to get it out;
1) Drill a small hole in it, deep enough to grab it with an easy-out.
2) Drill the head off with a large bit. The copper washer will protect the block from damage as long as you are careful.
When the head is gone, the rest of the bolt comes out REAL EASY.
Whenever you remove the stock oil drain bolt (whether it required drilling or not), throw it in the garbage and replace it with a conventional bolt with the same threads.

another thing that works is an 8 inch pipe wrench. it grabs the outside and tightens as force is applied. whatever methoud you choose get a new bolt to replace it and apply neversieze to the threads near the head.
