I need to upgrade and downsize the fleet. I have 2 Apexes, 2 Vectors and 2 Phasers, all with mountain packages.
I want to keep my one Apex as its is set up for my riding style. The other 5 are being sold.
I need a back up sled for my wife as she hates my Apex, too big and heavy, but I want the fun meter to be pegged that way it is on my Apex with the 162" track. They were ok with the Phasers and Vectors but those machines are 10 years or older now and virtually got no use now that the kids are grown.
How much easier, lighter, corning in deep snow, off trail riding that I do with my Apex Mountain will a Viper with a 2"x 144" track? To get the same pull, do I need to go to a Sidewinder?
For me its fresh deep snow, groomed trial riding with mountain riding about 25% of the time. Daily trail rides are right around 125 miles. Trail rides can be anywhere for 75 MPH to 5 MPH crawl over whoops for 2 miles.
