Replaced my throttle cable, rpm question

Replaced the throttle cable on my 06 RTX and noticed when starting the sled (cold) the sled seems to want to idle around 2100. If I remember correctly from last year it should idle around 3000 and drop down to 1500 when warm. Is this a adjustment issue with the throttle cable and how do I correct the problem?
