Woke up this morning to blizzard conditions and fresh 6 inches of snow! wind is really crankin out there!
Put about 80 miles on my Apex 2010 GT LTX yesterday in the Greenville ME area. trails were not groomed with about 2 ft of powdered snow.
Sled performed well but had throttle cable issues. It was around 2 degrees when I dropped and my guess is the cold temps, open trailer wind chill caused cable to shrink and tighten? I keep the sled in the garage all the time. did not bother when I ripped around the yard before loading? Any one else have this issue? should I give more play in the adjustment?

Hey Blue, didn't know we had another member from around the Bangor area. Salutations! To help answer your question, yes, your throttle cable may have been a little frozen.
I recently sold my 2001 SXR 700 to another guy in Hermon and when we got it over to his house we started it up and realized that the throttle cable was frozen and the throttle block on mine was cracked (not sure how it happened but it was embarrassing nonetheless). We took it back and fixed it all up before we gave it to him but I digress...
I think because we have been having wildly fluctuating temps up here over the past few weeks, it's causing condensation to get between the throttle cable and the insulating rubber and then when we have below 32 degrees temps that water freezes, causing the stickage.

Ayuh, sure is good to see some snow - - finally!
Check the cable routing 1st. Make sure it 'follows the path of least resistance' from the flipper down to the throttle body, you may want to reposition the zip ties that hold the bundle of cables & wires together. Also check the torsion spring on the TBI, make sure its clean & pivots freely. Cables aren't problematic on Apexes so it's probably minor.

Were you simply having cable problems that you happen to notice, or were you throwing 84 code (TORS)?

TORS
Yes, When I turned the handlebars to turn around the tors code was acuating. I looked at it today and the throttle cable was up on the handlebar pad so moved it back to it's right full spot and it seems fine now. but sled is in warm garage so I will check it on the next ride!
Yamahamainer, Yes I am in the bangor area somtimes wish more, My Job moved to Mass this summer but still have a house in Bangor. Maybe we can hook up for a ride sometime!
