I have a relatively inexpensive sled lift and i need to replace the jack. Does anyone have a suggestion where to get a replacement jack?

you can use a trailer jack. just get one with 17" of lift.

One of mine wen't bad so I switched it over to a boat winch. You can get cable or nylon strap for $30/$40. Just takes a little fabricating to mount the winch forward and up unough so you can reach it and it pulls up and forward.
Most of the jacks used for sled lifts are trailer jacks. How does the jack attach to your lift now
I see your point. The jack is nothing special other than most of them extend 15 to 17 inches.
Just get a jack from redneck or off eBay . Cut the tube off the upper part of the original and weld it on the new one.

It is just a trailer jack. Right now its shown in the fully extended position. Measure the outer housing length from top to bottom, then go to harbor freight. tractor supply, or anywhere that has a selection of trailer jacks and measure up theirs until you find one that has the same housing length. Take it home and start grinding off the swivel mount. You'll have to weld on a little tube on the outer housing like they did for the pivot bolt, the lower bolt hole should already be in the inner tube from the foot or the wheel, if not you'll have to drill one in it. Once you have a hole mount it on the lift and locate where to put the pivot tube and weld that on. About a 30 minutes job sans the time to acquire the new jack. I have the exact same lift and had the same issue, i went to Harbor Freight and got a 17" lift trailer jack (around $20) i think. i opened the bottom bracket up a little and it bolted up, then i just welded the sleeve from the original jack to the body of the new one. i planned on replacing the hand crank with the nut that came on the lift but i found the hand crank easier, just watch that you dont scratch your nosecone.

Here's the only picture I have of it (sorry just a crappy screenshot from my Instagram), it is currently burried in the trailer. I'll try for more pics of it when I'm in there. Another note is if you section a 2x4 into a u shape and stuff it in the wheel mount it will stop the front wheels from bending.
