I'm looking to replace some track clips that have come off my 06 apex rtx. I've done a forum search and have been scouring the web and havent found anything on where to order camoplast replacement track clips. I know some of you have discussed this before but where did you guys buy them from?

Re: Spankys
never heard of them before and there's no part# to match up with... I'm pretty sure these arent the right ones. I just measured and its 2" wide with a 1"clip

That's where I got mine....
3 clips missing. Cost me about $150.00 after buying the track clip tool. I never lost any more. I'm convinced it came from the factory like that. (I bought the sled used.)

I noticed the 12-5899 clip is rounded on the flat side instead of being square like the ones that came on it... does it make a difference?

One other thing to note if you are missing track clips on any sled with a mono-shock rear suspension is to be sure to check the end caps at the front of the rail as we tend to see them get extremely loose and then the track is not properly guided onto the rails and leads to the L-shaped part of the clip contacting the front edge of the hyfax and peeling the clip off. Depending upon how loose the end cap is you can either bolt them back on or replace them.

I have my whole rear skid out of the sled and doing a rebuild on it. I noticed the end caps were lose so I drilled out the rivets and purchased new ones along with a lot of other parts, but I was wondering why that had happened and I now know why. I appreciate the response and will be placing an order for some clips. Thanks

When you re-fasten your end caps fill them with SILICONE 1st then re-install them and wipe off excess and re-fasten them in place, the silicone will fill the voids and make them nice & tight.

i did the silicone idea too...and i used SS bolts/nuts instead of rivets.
