Just thought I would put a couple pictures of what has to come apart to replace one side of the front bulk head should you wipe off the "A" arms on a tree or rocks. You don't have to remove the motor, but both halves of that cast piece in the front have to come off at the same time as they have tabs and studs holding them together.

Hey, look like mine, eh eh. Except mine has bend under the coolant hose.

Need a new frame.

Bulk head are B.O. Mine is schedule for dec. 16. My bulk head look like they have been it by a rocket. They are broken in several pieces.

Good luck with you rebuild. Hope you get all piece together before christmas.
;)!

OUCH :o|

I've done several bulkhead replacements on the different brands none are much fun, luckily I normally get paid to do them ;)!

Hey , what is that billet cap sticking out of the front crankcase cover with the rubber line going to it ,my 03 doesn't have that.

Well...you can get to that oil filter pretty easily now! Take advantage of it and change your oil before you put ti back together. ;)!

Rob,is that your sled? What happened ? I heard a rumor but was hoping it wasn't true!

That aluminum piece on the side of the motor is the scavenger pump for the turbos oil (Return line) Ken, I sent you a PM. I put pictures of what caused this in the general section. Its on the second page now under Avalanche.

Those are not much fun, especially drilling out all of those rivets.

Double check to see that you didn't bend down and back the bottom piece where your inspection tray is, other wise your front exchanger is going to rub on your track. As I have seen this on a few like yours, then your motor will have to come out. Hope your is ok ;)!

That part of the tunnel looks OK. The parts are suppose to be here today so I can start putting it back together. Going to feel alot better when it done.

Lucky man ;)!

I'm waiting for mine, but you are at the opposite side of canada , closer to Japan :D than me :ORC
