With the recent posting by 'blue er' on how to make the sway bar change, I'm considering it....But I'm curious....

Has anyone (preferrably with a Warrior, 04 to be exact), found any need to make spring or shock revalving changes along with the sway bar change...I'm thinking 13 mm, but I'm open to suggestions from those who have made the change on a 136".

The sled has 4,600 miles (2.5) seasons on it and the shocks have never been touched, front or back. Since it may be time to have them freshened up this summer, should I stay stock or what? I'm around 225lbs without gear and 'most' of our trails are pretty smooth, at least by Ohio, Mich/UP, NY standards - so I'm told.

I don't do any off-trail riding.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I don't believe a shock revalving is necessary, but going to a 2.1 or 2.3 rate front spring will further improve the cornering. Also removing some preload on the front springs will lower your center of gravity which also will improve the cornering.

Agree with RR. I've had 10, 11, 12 mm's..broke them all except the original 10 mm bar. Thought the hardening process was cured but I guess not. Doesn't matter, I filled the progressive springs with made up rubber wedges and the handling was excellent, so went back to the softer bar. No ski lift. Also, front preload soft..maybe 7 threads showing above. Front suspension spring shimmed and set soft too..this on an RX, not a warrior.
