Rivets ?

What other rivets are you guys using instead of yamaha rivets because they are abit pricey, what size rivets should I be using! I know 3/16 round but how long? I'm currently replacing a part in the tunnel and about 60 rivets are required.

I've used the rivets from OFT Racing. About half the price of the ones from Yamaha. Used for both of my ZX2 installations.

Fastenal doesn't carry them. I've purchased mine from Amazon. Avdel Stavex rivets, 3/16 shank. You'll find them in various grip lengths/grip range.

Sledtoyz but I believe you can get them through most industrial places like Fastenal if the guys will spend the time to look them up. I got a bag from somebody who bought them at Fastenal.

Grainger has rivets also. At least they did a couple years ago, when I stocked up. Sorry, just noticed you are north of the border ?

I just picked up some at Kent, hopefully they will work. Priced the yamaha ones but at 1.99 a rivet that's just outrageous. Thanks for all the replys guys.

sleds toyz is who I get mine from. usually have them within a week of ordering them. used about 600 in the last year.
