i am doing a skid swap and i was wondering if i can use aluminim rivets to put in the new tunnel brackets and what size are they i know they are 3/16" rivets with a 3/8 head but whats the grip range

I used stainless steel bolts, i don't have a rivet gun and they are stronger anyway.

Use steel rivets or bolts. Do not use aluminim rivets on a structural part or any part that takes a load.

Use steel, not any steel but a strong steel rivet. The ones crewchief sells at sledtoyz are great rivets for that application. Yamaha used the Avdel Stavex rivet in many locations. The ones sledtoyz sells are just as good.
