Noticed last weekend that the more I drove my sled, the less it was revving and by the end of the day I could not even hit 9000RPM. Took my secondary off tonight to discover I was missing 2 buttons and had a broken ramp on the sheave. I can buy a complete used unit but for some extra $$$ I should be able to get an aftermarket unit. But I am having a hard job finding an aftermarket one. Who makes them? Is there big gains to be had over stock? Any advice would be great.

My brother (sapling killer) has the hauk roller on his Rxwarrior ( http://www.hauckpowersportsinc.com/pages/customcatalog/Product/1901) it requires machining of your secondary and I beleive that this machining does remove the towers that hold the button sliders in the secondary. Which means you could reuse your old clutch. The problem with it is the rollers wear weird around the pin after awhile and you kinda lose the roller action. We did just rebuild his with new rollers and he says the back shift is much better then it was. He is very tuff on his equipment(maintains it but does break stuff) as he broke the towers off twice before going to the roller, which he has not broken yet.

Other nice part is you get to use you stock helix.

Tks for the replies.
Does anybody have a complete unit that I can bolt on?

Yes I was looking at that but I have been in touch with forum member Betheviper and he has a complete super torquer secondary from heel clicker for a reasonable price. I live close by to him so I plan on picking it up this weekend. It is a bit overkill for my mostly stock sled but it appears to be a lot better design than the stock unit.
