After reading up on all the different types of ski wheels available I ordered and recieved two sets of the rollerski's made in Quebec. I went this way due to the enclosed reservoir with a bit of oil in it. Once a year unscrew the cap and add a few mls of oil and good to go. They are really well built but the thing I'm not to stuck on is the way you engage them. I looked all over their website and unlike their compentitors there was no demo video. Most other brands have a handle which helps pivot wheels around and under the ski but these have no handles. Instructions say to step on wheel while lifting up ski and engage wheel that way. It is very possible, but with heavy winter boots on and all your gear, helmet, etc, it may be a bit more of a struggle to get foot on wheel in correct spot as it does spin when doing this. Plus your bent over and with one foot off the ground you loose some of you body support for safely lifting the ski. I only mounted the one set for now, not sure if I'll get a different set for our other sled or not yet. Anyone else have the Rollerski and how is it working for you.

Best wheels so far. I've had retrax and ski-wheelz as well. To deploy the wheels lift on the ski a little and push on the little metal nub on the outside of the wheel with your boot to deploy. That's what its for, your boot will catch on that protrusion. Takes a little practice. If you push on the wheel with your foot you will fall over as your foot slips off. I've done that too!

Hey thrasher. Yup, I tried the little metal nub that sticks out, if it were a bit longer it would be easier. I haven't actually tried with my snow boots on yet. But ya, I can see doing a faceplant when stepping on the wheels. They flip back up quick too. I was lying down near fron of skis alinging my lift and started to crank lift up just a bit and they flipped up and narrowly missing my mellon. That would have been nice to have her come home and find me unconsious, hard one to explain....
