Once you guys get a little more age on you, you'll start to appreciate the RS series mid-height shield a WHOLE LOT more than the windkini that comes on the Nytro.
AND you don't lose a lot in performance either........

Yah, it is hard to imagine anyone who would like a smaller windshield. Eh?
Actually, though, I once had two identical ZR LEs. They would run side by side right up to about 105 mph. (They were geared down for draggin'). Then, I bought a ~ 2" inch taller windshield for one and the other sled was always about 3-4 miles faster on top end. Swap the mid-height Shield to the other sled and the slower sled was now faster. So, I came to the conclusion that a couple inches of plastic can shave off a couple MPH on top end. Of course, so can a few extra pounds of fat. I suppose you could go on a diet in the Fall and then add the tall windshield and the two conditions would even out. Eh? But, then how often do we really go out and stretch these sleds out to see the real top end? Think I'll keep eating and the tall windshields. They both keep me warm, these days.

Yep. I went from the stock windy to the mid height and now I have a tall on order.

I have a stock '03 Rx-1 M shield on mine, I guess that's a mid-height one. When I sit down my face lines right up with the top of the shield and it directs the wind right at my face. It's a lot less cold when I'm stood up doing 100km/h than when I'm sat down doing it. I think that in my case a shorter windshield would be a good choice for me as a tall one would just throw off the look of my sled.
