RS rage starting problem

YA, we use to call Seafoam the tuneup in a can. Bring in an old Gravely or Cub Cadet thats been sitting for a long time. Drop the float bowl and drain the old fuel. Fresh fuel with Seafoam, a little starter fluid to get 'em to fire and,VOILA, 10-30 minutes later a smooth running lawn cutting implement LOL!!

My rage would only idle on full choke after storage, I had full tank with stabil as I have in the past. Tried your suggestion of Seafoam and after 3 miles it is back to normal. I am sold.
I never had these problems before 10% ethenol was added to fuel in Ma. My neighbor drives to Vt. or Nh. for fuel and claims he has no problem with his small motors and gets 5 more miles per gallon in his Tahoe.
