Well I went 13000 Km before 05 Rs Venture left me on the trail . The chain case side axle bearing disintegrated .There was no warning I was riding along and all of a sudden I heard a screeching noise I thought the belt was going again .Tried with the hood up and realized it was coming from the chain case .I thought this sounds expensive .I was about a mile from where I could pick it up with the trailer ,it didn't make any noise in reverse so I thought it was the forward gear. I backed up all the way to the high way .The river bank is about 10 ft high and very steep it was pretty exciting going up that in reverse . I was lucky my buddy was riding a T660 2 up . Neither one of us rides with the passenger seat so we piled our storage bags in the hole and I sat on that .It was a little hard on the but as we had 80 Km to my truck .One thing that I learned on the ride home is that the Arctic cat is not a whole lot quieter than the venture . I wouldn't trade him . Every time we stop for gas I use $5.00 to $7.00 less
than him .I have not ridden with any one that got better gas mileage than me .

I decided to replace the jack shaft bearings while I am at it . So far
$150.00 plus cleaning supplies .I was thinking hundreds maybe I will
get another ride before I go to Mexico.
