My 06 Nytro was the same way. Last summer I removed those pesky plugs over the air screws on the bottom of the carbs and adjusted the screws to the 05 specs (2.5 touns out I think) and found that it made a big difference. Some times it will still stall as soon as the light goes out if the choke is on too far but runs great once I turn the choke off and start it up again
Agreed. The max I've ever idled my sled is probably 10min. & thats was at temp. -10F.
I had the same thing happen to me last week on my 2011 Vector(fuel injected). I warmed it up for at least 5 min. after the light went off. My sled was also was in a garage but not heated. I drove the sled out of the garage & on to our long driveway, back it up closer to the house & then went forward a few feet. At that point turned it off & went inside the house to get my helmet. Came out, turned the key & all it did was crank.crank, crank but would not start. No codes were showing on the gages. Dragged it back into the garage & called the dealer. He said the plugs were probably fouled & I said how could this be, I let it warm up for at least 15mins. & even drove it, shut it down & it would not start again. He said you need to warm it up for at least 20mins when it is very cold outside.
I used to have a 2006 Vector & had 9,000 miles on it & never had a problem with that before. My plugs on my 06 Vector were easy to change but what a pain in the #*$&@ to change plugs on my 2011 Vector. By the way my plugs were fouled.
