Need some help or answers. I have a 07 RTX. First hyfax's lasted 2700 miles with a Ripsaw track with every 3rd window open. Now I have put a Cobra track on with every window open and clipped and have went thru 2 sets of hyfax's in 600 miles. Everybody has fix's for the Mono but what about the RTX. Thanks

well looking for answers too!!!!... can't put the bigger doo wheels on with the 6205 bearings... the two inner wheels have 6005 and i cant find any aftermarket in a 5.35" with that bearing.... its the bearing colars for the front shock that mess things up!!!!....
i put the bigger wheels on the 40th and 1000 miles on so far this year with ZERO probs... but the Ol' RTX is in need of an update!!!!!

I also ran into that problem with hyfax life this year!! 550 miles and my slides are done!! Also running a fully cliped Cobra track extended to a 136. I thought alot of my problem was that with the skid extension I had my weight centered over the one spot that didn't have any idler wheels--I have an extra wheel kit ordered soo I will see if that helps---still doesn't negate the fact that I have to take the skid out to change the hyfax!!

Well i've been beating this to death around my neck of the woods.... the trick here guys is we need 5.25 or 5.35 wheels with removable 6005 bearings... if anyone can find these thats the answer.... i replaced mine with yammi spoked wheels with removable bearings, they work great... but they are the stock height.... and slides still wear....
Lets keep this going.... or check to see what the nytro's are doing because they have essentially the same skid with the inner wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is hours of reading on this if you do a search. My answer was Pioneer Performance hyfax extender wheel spacer kit for monoshock. Replaces your existing wheel mounting blocks and lowers wheels 2.5mm.
Over 1000 miles my hyfax look new.

So sorry about that. I had this book marked as well. These mid wheels are little expensive but you can check them out.

thanks greenmntpass.... i have 2 destroyed sets of these... first set 150 miles.... second about 100... the wheels are too small for the downforce they see.... maybe others have had better luck, but a buddy of mine and myself tryed these both on nytro's and apex's... (5 sleds between both) and have not had success.... the true "fix" is just an extra .10-.15" diameter in the wheels.... thats why all other manufacturers use larger wheels... they just work...
maybe somebody on here has connections to get some 5.35" wheels with 6005 bearings... to date... nothing has ever been made....
