I am getting a 09 rtx se and putting a 136 ext on it. i am 215 lbs with gear on and ride off trail on the rough stuff..
i was wondering what everyone thought about the 1900 & 2100??
has anyone tried them?
looks like the 1400 is the standard for the SE

The 1400's are standard equipment in the 2009 SE, but I have got the 1900's and a 28 N/mm center spring in my current "best setup" for rough trail riding. But then again, this is not necessarily going to be the case for everybody else as my shocks are not the standard ones.
I have got no idea about how the 136" extension is going to affect the spring choice, hopefully I will have a better idea later this winter as I am also going 136".

I 136'd my RTXSE and Hated it!!!! I totaled that sled "Long story" Not a crash. I bought a used RTXSE from a guy on the forum. I'm going to leave this one a 121. I haven't ridden a 121 since 2003. I love the 136 but the benefits you get from a 136 aren't need with the Nytro.

If you do still go 136 I suggest you get the Tipped rails. You will also need stiffer Springs. Becuase you change the leverage point by lengthening the skid the springs aren't stiff enough.
