I am new to the nytro i just picked a rtx se up on sunday with 800 miles on the sled. it looks to be in good shape. when i was looking at the rare skid i noticed the knobs that are on the track that run in the cogs are worn down on the center they come in contact with the front shock bolts it seems like the skid dose not have enough clarence for the track i was wondering if this is a common problem with the nytro and if so is there a fix for it

Those upper sliders take a while before they wear excessively. I've got over 6800km on mine and I'd say they've worn down halfway. I haven't noticed any serious wear on top of the shock mounts.
Perhaps the track has been run too loose? Perhaps the sled you picked up has quite a bit more miles than what you were led to believe?

My bolt wore enough that it was hard to get off. I replaced the bolt and the sliders at 2700 miles.

so this is a common problem with this sled it seems like. i don't mind replacing the bolt every now and again i just don't want the track to rip apart i will have to keep an eye on it. i would say the sled only has 800 miles on it i looked at a few of these nytros before i bought this one dose it rube all the time or only when the top slides wear down

I did'nt pay close attention. I noticed the bolt was worn when I was trying to remove the shocks to have them serviced.

I just took my skid out yesterday to get the shocks serviced. This was one of the places I wanted to check good and I had zero wear on the shock. Not sure if they all have them but, my shock also has nylon spacers the same size as the shocks mount. Even though didnt' see any rubbing.

Also, pretty sure Ulmers sells a kit for this. Puts a roller on each end of the bolt so the track can't touch it.

I don't know but I think the SE model has a different cross arm that the shock bolts to it looks like the SE shock bolts more on the top I will have to compare it to my buddys sled if it is different can I change the two of them out

My bolt was worn down quite a bit, basically nearly half the head was worn away. I replaced the white wear pads on each side of the arm, as that is really the only defense to the wear. The bolt I wasn't worried about, just line it back up when reinstalling, it's the track and shock that concern me. Take a look at the inside of the drive cogs, you'll see wear, again it's no big deal but the more you let the track wear down the pads the worse it will get. Since it only on the inside it's not really a deal breaker just another annoying trait of the Nytro. I would wear through the pads at least a set per year or about 2-3000 miles. Judging from past experience I've got about a 3 to 1 wear ratio with most riders on here.
