Nytro shocks rubbing track

I know this has been a common issue with the Nytro. This new to me 2010 Nytro XTX has been studded right up the middle which I will be removing. It has practically destroyed the bottom of the front skid shock and has left some very small cuts in track. I pulled the skid out to inspect and I noticed there seems to be a piece broken off the actual skid up front where the shock hooks on. It picture it to be a guard to keep the track from hitting the shock mount.

I guess I'm looking for a couple different things...
1. A picture of the front of a skid this isn't broken so I can get mine fixed.
2. I've heard about these ulmer racing spacer kits. Can those be installed on all the shock mounts or just the lower front?
3. I've also heard of different shock mounts all together. Would that be the right way to go.

Mine did the same thing the guy before me studded up the center, I took the studs out and bought a new shock and then made a guard to protect the bottom eye of shock. I did this last year and so far it working real good.

I keep two sets of those guards on hand they brake off alot and the shock hits the track
