Got the Apex running tonight after having an error code 12. Bad crank position sensor. Changed the stator and she fired right up. Took quick spin around the yard. Everything seems good.

A little intimidating at first, but not bad once I got into it. Drain and remove the oil tank- Simple. Remove side engine cover - Not to bad. Replace stator and put everything back together. Probably took 2-2.5 hours total. I am sure someone more familiar and more skilled could do it quicker.
