Where is Horace? I have friends in Minto and E Grand Forks

I am sure you have heard of Fargo (you know like the movie "you betcha"), well I am about seven miles south of West Fargo. I used to live in Fargo but the neighbors complained about riding out of the yard to get out of town, so I moved so I could legally leave the front yard!

I was wonder if anyone runs there sled in the summer months just to keep the fuel moving through the system and the motor lube. I have pulled the belf off during storage and have ran it a few times to about 5,000 RPM; 4,000 RPM the primary engages and make a contact sound. Is this a bad idea to do? The clutch sheave look great and I thought it would be a good idea to have the primary involved in the engine warm up.

Do the sheaves actually make contact when a belt is in place?

Thanks!

Don't do this! Always have the belt on when engaging your clutch! If it whacks too hard you are gonna be sorry!

Yo! :ot:

Anywho, I know it says some where to remove the belt when its stored but what good does that do? If you leave it on does it get set in a certain shape so it will have a funky wobble when you first ride it next season? If you take the belt off how do you store the belt such that it would be any different than if it was sitting on the clutches? -- Stu

sorry for going off topic
I have never taken the belt off my machine when i store it and I know many fellow riders that have never took theres off. I see no advantage in doing this
