rx-1 2005 with 136"

i'd like to mod my rx-1 mono shock to 136", is it a good idea?? want to put a 141" tunnel extention to have place to my rear cooler ( stud ). 2 new rails from yamaha ( attack ) and all the bracket and the rear upper shaft with big wheel. what do you think ?? i need traction with my turbo sled.

From what was discussed last year the only mono that will work as a 136" or greater is from the 06 Attak, not recommended to extend last years MONO. Look at the Attak and you will see the difference.

It sounds to me like what he's doing will amount to an attak suspension. It should work fine.

thebest: If you use Yamaha OEM heat exchanger, you will prefer OEM WARRIOR extension.

i use a srx rear exchanger and i have to put some protector , all my friend warrior with the rear cooler hit the cooler with the stud . i'd like to have a bigger cooler, and i'm putting the rad cooler from the apex on the right side. turbo sled need some bigger cooler !!! did mountain performance do some 141" tunnel extention??? thank's lazy to your help. thebest

You can use the warrior/mountain heat exchanger as long as you put in protectors over it.

141 and 144 extensions are the same... you can get from mountain perf, or lots of other places, including KbxSrx (if you can convince him to send to Canada ). Might look a little goofy though.

They only make a 144 and consider it a 141 or 144 at MPI
