RX-1/ 800 Mach Z / REV 600 HO race result's Question

I have a stock Warrior and in a 1/2 mile against a 800 Rev HO we where dead even all the way, and we raced three times! My secondary is set at 90.
On another occasion I raced a different 800 Rev HO and the first race we where even the second race he pulled me by a few lengths and the third race he had me by about six lengths, so I tried something; I rode the sled into deep snow and then got back on the lake after the cool down and I gained 9 MPH on top end

A rx1 is not a sled to race in all conditions. The harder the surface the better. The stock 03 track and the weight in an inch or two of loose stuff is bad. A foot of loose snow just about anything would out run it. Sad that rx1's don't go fast in snow.

Man you said it... LOOSE SNOW IS WHERE THE EXTRA WEIGHT COMES INTO PLAY!!!

A total dog in a foot of fresh snow.... but pull like HELL on packed snow!!

I don't agree that weight is a factor in deep snow performance. Its all in back end. With mine (see sig), given the choice between racing on hardpack and in a foot of virgin powder, I would choose the powder in a second. In a foot of snow, the hookup is unreal, and the shallow approach angle lets it float for high top end.
