I have a 05 RX-1 and was just curious what everyone’s thoughts are on what mod would get you the best performance increase for the buck. This excludes turbos superchargers and nitrous. I spent more then I had planned this year for the sled but may leave a couple options open if they are reasonable. Keep in mind dealer would most likely do the install.

we need to know your budget and where you ride, trail, lake, hills, mountain, deep powder, etc.

I do the majority of my riding on the trails but I do a fair amount of riding on the lake as well. I guess $400 or so would be my limit......

Dealers gonna take half of that to do an install of any mod parts. I'd keep the $400.00 and put it into extra gas and drive the thing stock that much more! Skis are always a good upgrade for the RX1. $400.00 would about cover that and you could do that your self. 2 bolts and away you go.

I agree, you may be hard pressed to find a beneifical mod for around $400.00 with dealer install. As mentioned the skis are a nice addition. You might get a clutch kit or something of that nature or even pic the track.

Let's open it up to $1000 then! Not that I plan a spending it right now, just curious as to what would be the best thing to do.

I just did the CPR cluth and filter kit. Seems like a lot of guys are happy with the preformance and bang for the buck.
BTW...What skis are you guys runing for trails? and where is the huge advantage over stock? Darting I would asume???

What he said! Also for a grand, I would definitely get the clutches modded. Studs are a good idea too. All it takes is a lot of money

Sorry I forgot to mention, I already have 144 studs up the middle.
I was thinking ECP kit but was wondering if I should just do a clutch kit... Performance wise what am I looking at as far as the difference between the two?

ECP Air Kit - $265.00
Clutch kit - $400.00
Total - $665.00
Will be the best money ever spent on your sled.
