Hey everyone!

I`ve discovered that buying new skis for my RX-1 will be pretty expensive, knowing that I couldn`t afford new skis, I ordered (from what I have found out, it`s called "ski skins" in english.

Have any of you tried these on your RX`s ?
I didn`t think it was possible to install ski skins when you have plastic skis?. It sais "RX-1MM wide ski plastic" and they only costs around 95$ (for a pair).

It will probably look akward but I guess they will do the job?

??

I actually installed a set over some plastic ski's before. I did it on a sled for my wife. The plastics ski's were to agressive for her liking so I used some generac ski skins and it worked out pisser.

Okey thanks for the info :)

What do you mean when saying "Pisser" ?

What kind of skin did you fit? What sled was it intended for?

Sorry, pisser means they worked well. I got some after market kimpex ones that were for a polaris steel ski. you just have to drill some new holes in the skin for the carbide runner's threaded post to fit through.

Ok I see :)

I`m just curious since I haven`t found any ski skins made for the RX-1 on the internet, but as I said the accsessories catalog my dealer gave me said that they had skins especially made for the RX-1. Just thought it was funny that no one else as mentioned this here.. :)
