I have a 2003 RX-1. I just installed the ECP filter kit on it. I must say it works AWSOME!!! Sounds pretty cool to! I been on 4 or 5 rides since I installed the kit. This past weekend it was pretty cold where I was. -15 to -20f. I noticed steam comeing out of the hood vents every time I stoped. There was also some oily moisture / Residue comeing from the breather.

Is this a common thing? What can I do to stop the breather from makeing a mess of my engine? Would a EVAC help this problem? Where would I get a EVAC from?

Any tips would be greatly Appricated.

Checked out the EVAC. Would'nt this just push the oily moisture back into my engine, through my carbs??

I am looking into the LP vent box. Does this work the same as the EVAC?

The Evac has a plug on the bottom you pull out after a few hours of riding or so and it drains the water and stuff out of a tube only the fumes make it back into the carbs plus when your pistons go down away from the head there is some compression there also the evac kit creates a sort of vacuum that gives you a bit more HP by releaving that back compression

Got the same problem (I don't have the evac) what I did was wrap a shop towel around the hose right below the breather that way it soaks up the moisture without getting it all over good for a few hundred miles then I just replace. If you over fill your oil it does seem to be more prevelant
