TY 4 Stroke Master
wondering if the warrior idle set up is the same as the rs venture 3 cyl?? I bought a 05 venture and it starts and idles at 1,500 or so, but as soon as I touch the throttle it jacks to 3,500rpms stays there and wants to lurch forward. I think the previous owner messed with the idle screw to solve it's rough running after sitting for a while. I am familiar with my warrior and wondered if the set up or adjustments would be similar. thanks

Well I'm no guru on this but it should not go to 3500 and stay there. It should return to 1500 where it started from. If it slowly returns it could be a lean condition. If it never returns it could be the throttle is sticking.
If it idles rough and has sat for awhile id suspect the carbs need to be cleaned. As far as I know the Venture uses the same style carbs as the RX.

when there cold they will rev up but if the eng warm it should be 1500-1800 rpms
