RX Mountain vs. Apex Mountain throttle cable

Anyone have two of these they can lay side-by-side to compare?? Or, does anyone know the differences for sure??? I am looking at buying a set of risers for my Warrior and I will need the mountain throttle cable as well. I am looking at 4Fighters risers and he has an Apex mountain cable to go with them, but I need to know if it will work on my RX or if it can be easily modified....???

They are not interchangeable. The RX has the bend in the metal where it atatches to the carbs and the Apex is Straight. The RX cable is also shorter. I put 8" riser on Attack and they shipped me RX cable by mistake and it did not work lengthwise but he Apex MNT did without a problem.

The throttle cable on that beautiful RX-1 you just bought is a mountain cable.

Haha....yeah!!!! I already looked at that, but my Dad wants to keep the bars where they are, so I'm leaving it on there....good call though!!!! He is really impressed with the sled!! I told him 'I told you so!!!' I also told him I am going to give him his money back and keep it!!! haha.....

I just measured a 05' RX1 mountain throttle cable that I have and the cable housing measures 33" including the curved tube on the engine end. I just bought it thinking it would work on my RS but it doesnt. $10 plus shipping if you need one. It has 2 seasons on it and is in really good shape. G.B.
