Rx1 -03 lean at boost and maybe low oilpressure?

When you have a higher flow intercooler is it better to have the float bowl pressure signal before or after the intercooler core ?thanks for the info

You have the same set up I had last year ,I don t know how you are going to carry that jetting on 10 psi .If you do I wan t to no how you did it.Good luck and ride safe.

Keep in mind that these intercoolers are all hand build, and there are pretty significant tolerances from one to another. This is especially significant on a CPR intercooler because of how the float pressure signal (pitot) is designed. I'm not at all surprised that you could be ~5 jet sizes different than someone else with the exact same set-up. Every turbo is going to have it's own 'personality' - give your sled what it wants and don't lose any sleep over this one.

As an extreme example - a customer's sled from a few years back wouldn't run at all with what appeared to be a perfectly well installed CPR kit. We spent a lot of time on this thing before concluding that the IC was NFG (of course Jeff had a different opinion). My point? If you can have 2 intercoolers built by the same person with enough variance that one works perfect, and one won't work at all, you can certainly have 2 IC's of the same design that will require different jetting on otherwise identical set-ups.

Hope that makes sense...

what do you guys think about the oilpressure?? what oil do you use? i think i am going to try a 0-40W instead of the yamalube 0-30W

Sure, i use 0w-40, but i don't think it does anything to oilpreassure @ idle, but it can withstand heat better, which isn't bad when running turbo.

Have you tried bigger Jets yet?

Alright, im going to change to 0-40 tomorrow! maybe that will solve my problem....

I have bigger jets now, 147.5, i have only tested at 10PSI and that gives my a lambda 0.8 = perfect.
Its pretty rich at the middle RPM's....
I will try 14PSI this week... maybe i can change to 145 or smaller....

If it's too rich in the mid-range you can put the clips back to the #3 position and the problem should go away.

How does boost feel? :-).
You maybe loaded the weights for more boost, but @ 10psi it should be a fun sled!

Alright, i might try that! thanks!

Tbird!: I Love it=) i will testdrive more at the end of the weekend...its to cold now... -22c =(

Hello guys, some questions!

I have a new setup now, i run 15PSI with Lambda 0.79-0.81 at 10300rpm.

Main Jet 150
The smaller jet 75
The smallest one 17.5
Needle is in the middle positoin

Wich of these last two jets is for the lowrange and what function does the third have?

Is a fuelpressure of 5 psi a good setup for this?

Thanks Micke
