So what are the symptoms? (e.g. Is it cranking? Or do you have no cranking?) It helps to be a lot more descriptive than, it does not start.

Well it is time to decide what is not working (i.e. Spark or Fuel.)
Remove a couple Spark Plugs. Are the wet or dry?
If dry, blow on gas tank vent to pressurize fuel system a bit or squirt a little gas in the carbs' throats. Do not over do the squirts in the carbs and if pressurizing the vent line, do not over do it by using compressed air.
If the removed plugs are wet, remove all plugs, roll over engine to clear the fuel, test for spark. Dry the plugs. Reinstall dried and cleaned plugs or new plugs. Try to start.
While you do the above, I'll look at the wiring diagram to figure out a No Spark condition. You did check all the fuses in the fuse box?

The the ignition fuse fuse has a Red wire and a Red/Yellow wire going to it. It should be up buy the top of the chain-case, but up and back a little.
Did you set the throttle cable free-play to ~ 1/8" at the "flipper?"
You might want to set the Emergency Brake until you get this figured out. We had one take off by itself a few weeks ago. If I recall correctly, he too was messing with the throttle cable.
If you re-routed the throttle cable, how much riser did you add?
