I have had my 2003 yamaha rx1 since new. I have always wanted a turbo for it. I found this rear mounted turbo kit on ebay. It has a hurricane performance box. no other marking but the turbo. If you had any information about it.

The Full Power Performance website is long gone, just searched today. Left a VM, hope to hear back soon...
Please help. Looking for ANY RX1 turbo install instructions, mainly trying to figure out what was done with the so-called "Pitot tube", which I can only figure out is an adjustable, fine-pressure PSI regulator connecting the charge (boost pressure) air to the carb bowl vents, effectively forcing fuel up the jets into the carb throats via the bowl overflow tubes. It appears the downstream pressure from these little regulators was only about 1.5 lbs, with tiny adjustments allowing for density altitude compensation.
One other question: Was the carb vacuum slide (outside air pressure) vent also connected to the intercooler and/or a regulator valve???
