The two allen screws under the first set of rubber plugs nearest the engine are not coming undone. This prevents me from sliding the exhaust back to replace the 4 donuts (bellows to pipe). Whats the best way to remove them without destroying the bracket or exhaust pipe?
Secondly, the donuts are real pricey at Yamaha, any place else make good ones at less cost.

you may have to drill out the bracket , or be patient and apply heat , I got mine out with good allen key , DO NOT STRIP or you are done . in canada they are 20$ plus

I use an 3/8" drive socket allen wrench in an impact gun on air and they come right out I have never broke one off and I think on the very outside ones I have used a pivoting adapter to get the angle on them to clear the frame loop. Don't use too much air pressure or you will brake the pin in the pivoting head.

i used a cold chisel and hammer to break the stubborn one theres a nick out of the side of one bolt head but still functions

Replaced mine with hex head bolts once I got them out. One stripped, used impact air chisel to break the bolt loose, similar to cold chisel and hammer method.

I ended up drilling out the rivits, I think there is about 8 or 10 of them then i was able to move it back . its not the right fix but i did'nt have to pull the suspension

On mine, I drilled the head of the bolt off. Then I drilled a 5/16 hole down thru the bolt, retaped and used stainless allen head bolts.

I did try the easyout thing with the 1st bolt, but it did not come out. I figured I had to drill a hole anyhow, why not make it the right size and retap? So thats what I did. That is what worked good for me, I wouldn't always recommend that repair to every one.

i drilled the rivets and let the bracket go,only a few rivets to put back......
